Between Piper’s birthday party on Saturday afternoon and Tate’s on Sunday, we also managed to squeeze in a Brazo’s Valley Bombers baseball game. The company I work for was doing an event out there on Saturday evening, which included unlimited games for kids, all you can eat burgers, hotdogs, etc., and all you can drink Shiner Beer. A little odd for a family outing, but still a good time. They also offered a shuttle ride home for anyone who had too many Shiners. Since I don’t even like Shiner beer, we definitely were not the people stumbling across the parking lot to the shuttle (with kids in tow). It was super hot, but still a nice event. The kids were worn out!
Our lefty – he seems to think his right hand is useless!
Tate was star struck by all of the furry characters walking around. He hugged them often, at after a wall we actually had to forbid him from bothering them. I bet it was 9 million degrees inside those costumes, because just in our regular clothes we were one hot, sweaty family at the end of the evening!
