He writes on the couch, eats popcorn (and shoves the un-popped kernels between the couch cushions), attacks us all with his sword, loves to wear hats, and absolutely idolizes his Wonder Pets. Saturday night he wore a bowl on his head and referred to it as his football helmet. Maybe a real football helmet needs to be added to his collection. "The Wonder Pets" is a Nick Jr. show, and Lenny (hamster), Tuck (turtle), and Ming Ming (duck) save the world on a daily basis as they travel by "fly boat". Tate got this set (Wonder Pets and Fly Boat) for Christmas. I was skeptical at first because the reviews weren't great for the toy. Many said that there wasn't anything to "do" with it. For most kids probably so, but Tate plays with them every hour he's home. They ride with us to school (and hang out in the car while he's there). They must be placed in a specific order on the Fly Boat, and he freaks out if they are rearranged (or even touched) by anyone else. They (along with various other toys) sleep with him every night, but only the WP's get to get out of bed and go to the bathroom with him. Gross, maybe, but they sit on the counter and hang out with him. Lately it's not enough to just bring the WPs, the Fly Boat comes along as well. Sometimes packing up the Fly Boat makes us almost too late getting to the bathroom. :(
He loves headwear. His two favorites are a John Deere cap and this crunchy cowboy hat.
This could be why the hat is so crunchy. As if flips aren't enough, he occasionally stomps on it as well. He must prefer the crumpled look.
Wearing Sue's name tag on his face...
Tuckered out. Sound asleep in a cap of course.
