Lost My Mind

Think back to the weekend, before what Cayla refers to as our College Station "blizzard".  With Chris in class and Jason at work, Becca and I knew we needed SOMETHING to entertain the kids (between the two of us we have five - ages 7, 6, 4, 2, and 7 mos.)  It was fairly warm outside, but with rain threatening, we felt our sanity begin to deteriorate.  The 7 of us loaded up in her car and took off for the mall.  Yes, maybe our sanity had already escaped us. Chuck E. Cheese would be our final destination, but it came with strings attached.

Rule Number 1 - We WILL NOT eat there.  This was made very clear.  Chuck E. Cheese pizza is both gross and expensive.
Rule Number 2 -  We will eat in the mall's food court.  It was probably just as gross and expensive, but it bought us a little time until noon when we could enforce Rule Number 3.  If they didn't eat their food, they would not get to go to Chuck E. Cheese.
Rule Number 3 - Maybe the most crazy rule, but Tracy and Becca want to stop at a shoe store in the mall.  If you don't behave in the shoe store... No Chuck E. Cheese.

We made it to the food court with all 5 children still in tow.  We ate, we played on the free playground, we survived the shoe store, and we played at Chuck E. Cheese. Success!

Loaded up and ready to go...

Food Court

Tate slides upside down/head first

Not a very graceful dismount
Headed Shoe Shopping - they definitely did NOT hold hands this sweetly the entire time.
Playing hard at Chuck E. Cheese - such a sweaty kid!

So fun!! We have the same chuckie Cheese Rule. We can not eat there. Emery thought for the longest time they didn't even serve food, now she thinks it's like the ball park, they have food but we are not allowed to eat it!!

That's funny about the no eating there rule. That's a good one because the food there is nasty.

Why is Tate so sweaty?
