Glitz and Glam

Well we've traded the freezing temperatures for rain, but waking up to 50 degree weather got Cayla very excited.  There's been a very girly outfit tucked away that she's been dying to wear to school.  She's actually been so anxious that she's seriously contemplated wearing it on a cold day and just toughing it out.  She thinks the outfit is just so "A-Dorable", that frost bite on her calves would have been totally worth it.  It reminds me of the torture of women's shoes.  If they are cute enough we will wear them, despite the fact that they may feel like termites eating our feet.  Another recent exciting event for her (and me)... that short hair finally fits in a ponytail.

The latest on Cayla's brother...

He seems to have given up on that uncomfortable dress up clothes, but is not yet ready to shed the wand.  His T-Shirt and underwear seem to be the best fit.  He's "magic'ed" us all many times.  We run into a few problems when his wand magically turns into a sword or "knee hammer".  He was giving me some magic in this first picture... and as I still looked through the view finder he threw the wand at my head.  No, I didn't notice the release and it did hit me.

These days pants are not a priority for him.  He LOVES his shoes and pretty much only takes them off for bath and bedtime, however he has been known to nap in his shoes just to avoid the arguement. Come visit our house any night of the week and you'll most like find Tate strutting around in a get up like this.

Flashing my Camera... Geez.

Giving me what he considers his best "Cheese".

No More Pictures Mom!

Very, very cute outfit, Cayla. I don't blame her for wanting to wear it!

Maybe Tate's magic wand keeps making his pants disappear... Very interesting indeed. :)
