Christmas in Texarkana

Christmas in Texarkana was one for the books!  This year the kiddos had and a very special (yet unexpected gift) that couldn’t be wrapped under the tree.  Why in the world would all of their gifts have one thing in common – Disney?  After all presents were unwrapped the wheels started turning.  Nana and Papa Gene’s big reveal – a Disney Cruise, Spring Break 2012!  Cayla’s only been begging for a “big vacation” since she was 4 years old and to hear that she’d get to go on a plane and a boat in the same vacation was quite thrilling.  Nana then revealed that a limo would be taking us to the boat… that was enough to send her over the edge!  This cruise had to be booked over a year in advance, however,  we thought that would be WAY too much anticipation for the youngins.  I’m starting to wonder if they’ll be able to handle the excitement for the next few months. They each have their calendars hung and they are marking off the days for the big count down.  I don’t think Tate fully understands what he’s in for, but he does love writing on his calendar!
