My poor picture taking abilities do not do our church picnic justice. If my camera could know to snap pictures (from inside my bag), this post would go to show how amazing the festivities really were. Pony rides, a rock wall, 2 bounce houses, an inflatable obstacle course, a train, ~50 different games, face painting, you get my drift… we had it all!
This poor horse… Tate probably told it to “Getty Up” at least 50 times. The horse just couldn’t catch a break! He really wanted to take the horse for a ride outside of the orange fence (and he didn’t think the “horse lady” needed to come along). I guess he was looking to freestyle a bit – SCARY!
Cayla could climb the wall easily (this was her favorite ride and she did it 4 times), and Tate was sure he could do it just as well. Tate only made it this far before he looked down and realized that he didn’t like this wall nearly as much as his sister. I guess he’s a bit scared of heights. Anything higher than the back of our couch is too tall to climb on. It’s good to know that he has some fear in him, but I do wish he’d quit scaling our couch.
We left the picnic with hot, sweaty, tired kids. YAY – NAP TIME!
