Christmas Everywhere

Following a weekend of Texarkana style Christmas, we celebrated Christmas at our house on Monday. We went out for sushi and then came home to open gifts. Santa even came early (as we requested) while we were eating. He must have remembered that we'd be gone for Christmas.

Tate checking out his Santa loot

Cayla got the Pogo stick that she wanted (even though she probably sent Santa and his Elves into a frenzy by adding it to her list so late).

Tate's Favorite Toy was his Wonder Pets "fly boat". After catching eye of Linny, Tuck, and Ming Ming he could have cared less about the rest of his gifts. He even refused to unwrap many of them.

Chris struggled to free the Wonder Pets from their box quickly enough.

A Very Happy Boy with his favorite gift.

Cayla loved all of her gifts.

Cayla attempting to pogo stick (with the help of the couch). Little did she know that it is much harder than it looks on TV. She needs more help than that couch is able to give. :)

Cayla wearing the sleep mask I bought for Chris. This was more of a joke, since he hates how I watch TV at bedtime. I'm not allowed to watch TV on volume greater than 12 (which is basically reading lips), but he still has to complain about the excess light the TV puts off. I thought this mask would help him get more beauty rest, but he refuses to wear the thing, and Cayla has confiscated it.

CHRISTMAS AT MIMI AND PAWPAW'S

Tate playing the Lincoln Logs from Aunt Sue and Ross

Ross apparently likes to play Lincoln Logs too!

Dad and his girls

Mimi shows off her Snuggie and "Raises the Roof" - lets hope this doesn't become her signature move.

A typical "Chris Picture". It shows that we were there, but that smile is AWFUL!

Ross and Sue with the log cabin they built (after Tate lost interest). He was eyeing some Jello instead.

Tate returns from his Jello with full force and destroys the cabin.

The End!
